C-FER Technologies
John Runciman is a Research Engineer-in-Training (EIT) at C-FER Technologies with experience in applied oil field and geothermal research, which includes full-scale experimental testing of novel technologies at downhole operating conditions (e.g. High Pressure High Temperature). He conducts well deformation and equipment failure investigations related to drilling and completion operations and manages C-FER's Well Xplore software, a multi-finger caliper analysis program that provides interactive and accurate evaluation of wellbore deformations. John completed his BSc in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Alberta in 2017 and he joined C-FER that same year.
