I am currently a Managing Partner of Sinclair Well Products Inc. Having attended the University of Texas, I entered the O&G drilling fluids industry in 1976, and was immediately transferred to my new location on the US West Coast, working for NL Baroid. I became involved in the geothermal drilling market in 1978, at a time when multiple rigs were drilling geothermal wells throughout the Western US. Specific experience included the design of HTHP drilling fluids systems for the hostile geothermal drilling environments, R&D and field testing of specialty additives to control the serious lost circulation and corrosion issues associated with geothermal drilling, technical support and troubleshooting of domestic and International projects, sourcing of temperature stable additives and .
For the past 10 years, I have managed Sinclair’s geothermal Division, supporting geothermal clients’ drilling fluids needs and providing superior geothermal mud additives, highly experienced geothermal mud engineers, International Tenders and 24/7 technical support.
