University of Nevada, Reno
I am a geophysics masters student in the Great Basin Center for Geothermal Research at the University of Nevada, Reno. My research is focused on introducing machine learning techniques to Nevada geothermal play fairway analysis to help develop an algorithmic approach for defining geothermal favorability and identifying blind geothermal systems in the Great Basin region. I first connected with the geothermal community through an internship with the U.S. Department of Energy's Geothermal Technologies Office (GTO) where I had the opportunity to be involved overseeing and supporting the forefront of geothermal research and technology.
