Zhi Ye is currently a centennial post-doctoral fellow at the Institute of Northern Engineering, University of Alaska Fairbanks. Prior to joining UAF, he was a postdoc research associate at University of Oklahoma. His research expertise focuses primarily on rock mechanics and geomechanics pertaining to subsurface energy recovery, induced seismicity, and fluid flow in fractured reservoirs. He is the winner of the 2019 Rock Mechanics Research Award from the American Rock Mechanics Association (ARMA). He has published 30+ articles in journals and conferences.
