Al Thibeault is a Canadian engineer and management consultant with over 40 years’ experience. During his diverse career he has had project and technical leadership roles for a wide variety of complex solutions for large organizations in the electric and gas utility, manufacturing, financial, health care, government, and research sectors.
He is a registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.), Certified Management Consultant™ (CMC), has completed the Advanced Certificate for Executives in Management Innovation and Technology (ACE) from the MIT Sloan School of Management, and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with the Project Management Institute.
Al is currently a PhD student in Energy Engineering at the Institute for Energy Studies, University of North Dakota. His research focus is strategic policies for resiliency and sustainability in the rare earth element (REE) industry, incorporating the use of system dynamics modeling.
Al continues to consult, developing model-driven sustainable business strategies for executives and policy makers using system dynamics and systems thinking tools.
