Sulav Dhakal is a PhD student at the Craft and Hawkins Department of Petroleum Engineering in Louisiana State University. His research areas are in gas hydrates, reservoir simulation, reactive transport modeling, Mechanical Earth Modeling (MEM), and coupled THCM (Thermo-Hydro-Chemical-Mechanical) modeling. He has a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Tribhuvan University in Nepal and a Master’s degree in petroleum engineering from Louisiana State University.
