Tatiana Pyatina is a materials scientist at Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL). The focus of her work is materials for geothermal well applications and energy storage wells. She has worked on design and evaluation of cementitious and elastomeric materials resistant to chemically aggressive environments and thermomechanical challenging conditions. Before joining BNL she worked as a senior development engineer with Schlumberger Ltd. designing, developing and commercializing products for subterranean applications, preparing technical documentation and conducting training and consulting on cementing.
Tatiana holds Ph.D. in environmental engineering (major) and chemistry (minor) from California Institute of Technology.
